What's Included

We make sure both sides of the transaction are identified and verified to the standard the report requires.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Which property deals must be reported under REAR?+
Real estate brokers and agents must report transactions where all or part of the purchase is paid in cash at or above the set threshold, paid via virtual assets, or where funds come from or are converted into virtual assets. The report is filed to the FIU through goAML.
Who is responsible for filing the REAR?+
The real estate brokerage or agent involved in the transaction. As DNFBPs, brokers must be registered on goAML and the Ministry of Economy SACM platform and have an appointed compliance officer responsible for reporting.
Is a REAR the same as reporting a suspicious deal?+
No. A REAR is a specific report triggered by the payment characteristics of a property transaction. If the deal is also suspicious, a separate STR or SAR must be filed in addition to the REAR.
What if the buyer pays partly in cash and partly by bank transfer?+
If the cash portion meets the threshold, the transaction is reportable. We assess mixed-payment deals carefully so you neither miss a required report nor file unnecessarily.
