What is a visa-eligibility letter?
The visa-eligibility Ejari letter is an additional document issued by RERA that confirms two facts about your tenancy:
- The property is registered in Ejari and lawfully occupied by you
- The property meets the minimum size requirement for the visa type you are applying for (typically 1-bedroom or larger for spouse/child sponsorship)
It is NOT the same as your standard Ejari certificate. GDRFA accepts only the visa-eligibility letter for family visa applications, not a copy of the Ejari itself.
