Do I need to register for UAE Corporate Tax?
Most UAE businesses must register for Corporate Tax with the Federal Tax Authority, regardless of profit. Corporate Tax applies at 0% on taxable income up to AED 375,000 and 9% above that. Where annual revenue is AED 3,000,000 or below, you may also qualify for Small Business Relief. We handle registration and confirm exactly what applies to you.
When are my VAT returns and registration due?
VAT registration is mandatory once taxable turnover exceeds AED 375,000 in a 12-month period, and voluntary from AED 187,500. VAT is charged at 5%, and returns are typically filed quarterly within 28 days of the end of each tax period. We track your deadlines and file on time so you avoid penalties.
How long does company formation take in the UAE?
Timelines depend on the jurisdiction and activity. Many free-zone licences can be issued within a few working days once documents are ready, while mainland setups may take a little longer due to additional approvals. We manage the full process and give you a realistic timeline at the start.
Does my company need an audit?
Many UAE entities are required to maintain audited financial statements, and several free zones and banks request them as standard. Even where it is not mandatory, an independent audit strengthens trust with banks, investors and authorities. We confirm your obligations and deliver IFRS-aligned audits.
Why should I choose JPA Group?
JPA Group is an FTA-approved, partner-led firm with 24+ years of experience, more than 1500 clients and 5000+ filings completed. Because accounting, tax, audit and setup all sit together in one firm, your compliance stays joined up and you deal with one trusted team rather than many.
