How do I know which jurisdiction is right?
Depends on three things: where your customers are (UAE vs. international), whether you need UAE government tenders, and your tax structure preferences. We’ll walk through this in your free 30-min consultation.
What’s the realistic total cost (license + visa + bank)?
Free Zone: AED 7,500-15,000 first year. Mainland: AED 13,000-25,000 first year. Offshore: AED 7,000-12,000 first year. The range depends on activity, visa numbers, and office requirements. We itemise everything in the proposal.
How long until I can actually invoice clients?
From license issuance: immediate for Free Zone and Mainland. Bank account adds 2-4 weeks separately. Most JPA clients are invoicing within 3-4 weeks of starting the engagement.
Can I change jurisdiction later if I pick wrong?
Yes, but it’s expensive — you essentially set up a new company and migrate. That’s why we spend time on jurisdiction strategy upfront. Better to spend 30 minutes consulting than re-incorporating later.
